New Holland Construction has expanded its D-Series Compact Wheel Loader lineup with the launch of the W70D, W80D and W80D Long Reach. The new models will be available in the third quarter of 2026 and target landscaping, construction, material handling and agricultural applications.
The machines build on the success of the W100D, which debuted in 2025, by introducing the same redesigned cab and improved operator experience to smaller machine sizes.
Designed for Multiple Industries
The new compact wheel loaders offer customers more options to match machine size with job requirements.
The W70D and W80D feature a mid-sized frame, while the W100D remains the largest model in the D-Series lineup.
According to New Holland Construction, the machines suit a wide range of tasks, including material handling, truck loading, site cleanup, nursery work, farm operations and snow removal.
Attachment Flexibility Improves Productivity
The new loaders feature a hydraulic skid steer-style coupler that allows operators to change attachments without leaving the cab.
As a result, crews can quickly switch between buckets, pallet forks, tree spades and bale spears. This flexibility helps contractors complete multiple tasks with a single machine while reducing downtime.
Redesigned Cab Enhances Operator Comfort
New Holland has equipped the models with a redesigned cab focused on comfort and visibility.
The cab includes a heated air-ride seat with integrated joystick controls that move with the operator to reduce fatigue. In addition, a larger windshield, lower front console and improved sightlines provide better visibility of attachments and the work area.
A new display mounted on the right-side A-pillar keeps key machine information within the operator’s view. Meanwhile, a sliding side window and door make communication with ground crews easier.
Productivity and Safety Features
The D-Series loaders include features such as ride control, cruise control, creep mode, return-to-dig, return-to-dump and return-to-travel to simplify repetitive tasks.
Furthermore, operators can adjust boom and bucket response speeds to match different applications and experience levels. Advanced load-sensing hydraulics also improve efficiency while helping reduce fuel consumption.
For added safety, the machines come with improved visibility, a rearview camera, backup alarm and LED lighting package. Customers can also choose an optional four-corner strobe kit for low-light conditions.
Telematics and Availability
Each compact wheel loader includes seven years of myNewHollandConstruction telematics connectivity. Fleet managers can monitor machine location, operating hours, maintenance schedules and equipment health.
Additionally, geofencing, curfew monitoring and maintenance alerts help improve fleet security and uptime.
New Holland Construction will begin accepting orders for the W70D, W80D and W80D Long Reach through its dealer network during the third quarter of 2026.
