Stantec Completes Page Acquisition, Becoming Second Largest Architecture Firm in the US

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design, engineering, and environmental consulting, has officially closed its acquisition of Page, a 1,400-person architecture and engineering firm headquartered in Washington, DC. The deal significantly strengthens Stantec’s North American presence and positions it as the second largest architecture firm in the United States.

With the addition of Page, Stantec’s US Buildings practice expands by nearly 35 percent, and its overall US workforce grows to approximately 13,500 employees. The move cements Stantec’s position as the largest integrated engineering and architecture firm in North America, enhancing its capacity to deliver large-scale, multidisciplinary projects across diverse industries.

Expanded Capabilities Across Key Sectors

The combined Stantec–Page team brings enhanced expertise and resources in some of the fastest-growing US markets, including advanced manufacturing, data centers, and healthcare. The acquisition also broadens Stantec’s capabilities in cleanroom design, fabrication facilities, and mission-critical infrastructure, while reinforcing its portfolio in academic, civic, cultural, aviation, science and technology, commercial, industrial, and workplace design.

Leonard Castro, executive vice president of Stantec’s global Buildings practice, commented:

“As Page joins Stantec, our expanded reach and rigor allow us to better serve our North American clients and grow our worldwide market presence. Our two firms are brought together through a shared commitment to Performance by Design—where our decisions are intentional, outcomes are measurable, and our solutions connect people and move businesses forward.”
